Punchliners

The Punchliners are a comedy trio who worked out that a joke lands harder with a hook under it. Straight-faced pop songs about deeply unserious things, in the Lonely Island tradition of committing completely to the bit.

They opened in 2025 with Rookie of the Year and have kept mining the small absurdities most people are too polite to sing about, most recently turning office life into an unlikely banger on Desk Dance Party. The music is real and the production is real, which is exactly what makes it funny.

Satirical pop for anyone who wants their playlist to make them laugh. Best served loud and not taken too seriously.
