& The Groove

Jules and The Groove are a two-hander, a writer up front and a producer who plays like a whole band. Their thing is warmth: live-feeling soul under conversational rhymes, closer to a late jam than a studio session.

Insomnia introduced them back in 2019, the sound of a duo up too late and fine with it. The full statement took its time; We've Been Here Before finally landed in 2026, a loose, jazzy set about memory and repetition, the deja vu of getting older and a little wiser. Seven years between a first song and a first album, and it suits them.
