Owen Hartley makes the kind of earnest, big-hearted pop that is easy to be cynical about until it quietly works on you. Clean vocals, uplifting choruses, and no fear of meaning what he says.
He opened in 2024 with Live Love and the reaching, grateful Our Heroes, then returned in 2026 with Close To You. In the David Archuleta mould: wholesome without being weightless, sincere without apology.

Owen is Aron Veer's other half, and he exists for a reason I may as well say out loud: not every song is made for the same purpose.
Where Aron gets the ones I make for the love of it, Owen gets the ones built to be useful. Titles people actually search for, choruses that do their job in the first ten seconds, songs designed to live under a reel or a TikTok rather than to be sat down with. That is a real craft and I am not sniffy about it. It is just a different job.
So if an Owen Hartley track finds you soundtracking someone's holiday clip rather than on repeat in your headphones, that is not an accident. It is the whole idea.
