& Ash

River and Ash are two friends who write like they are passing a guitar back and forth on a porch. Indie folk with dirt under its nails, more interested in who you are with than where you are going.

They started quietly with Guitar Pick in 2024 and kept circling the same warm idea: One Family, Love Can Build a Bridge, and most recently Who You Do It With, which pulled in Sadie Harlow for an indie-tinged second version. The songs are about company, and they sound like it.

Alternative and indie folk for the road trip, the back garden and the long goodbye. Made to be sung by more than one voice.
